about our junior club.

If you are already an archer and have your own equipment, you are invited to join the Club by submitting an application form. This must be supported by two Club Members, one of whom must be a Committee Member. If you would like an application form, please send an enquiry to the address on the Contacts Page.

If you are new to the area or have completed your beginners’ course elsewhere and do not know any Club Members, you can be invited to shoot as the guest of a Committee Member so that we can get to know you. You will also have to attend a short induction course. If you would like to do this, please supply us with some information about yourself (including which type of bow you shoot). A telephone number where we can contact you would also be useful. Please include this information when you send an enquiry message to the address, which you will find on the Contacts Page
If are a newcomer to the sport, the usual starting point would be to enrol for a  Beginners Course. During this time we can get to know you and it will be easier for a Coach or Committee Member to support your application.

Our Club membership year starts on the 1st July, but applications can be put before the Committee at any time throughout the year. It usually takes between 2 and 4 weeks to process new applications.
